Hey Curlies!

Shea Moisture is just one of those brands that you've gotta luv! With it's all natural ingredients and wonderful aromas, it even has my hubby asking "What did you put in your hair?"... ( he always wants to know the secrets)

So for Shea Moisture to launch a whole cosmetic line geared towards women of color was a total shock to everyone!

We were all raving about where and when exactly, can we get our hands on these products. With at least 10 different shades to choose from, alongside shadows, glosses, lip crayons and pressed powders, It sent Shea Moisture lovers in a frenzy.

I was fortunate enough to receive a few of these products to review some time ago and decided to try something fun with my hair and show you guys in the process.

Yes, I know. " But that's makeup".   And it's the best kind to use for your hair!

Shea Moisture has a rep for its natural and organic ingredients, so using the pressed powder to highlight the tips was a fun and easy alternative to color damage. It's also great for young teens that can't quite get highlights/color, but still want that experience.

(Below is a pic of me using the Shea Moisture pressed powder a few months ago when I took these images for my instagram.)

(You guys wanted to know what I used and how I maintained it, well here it is!)

The hair color can last up to 2-3 cool days using the pineappling method. If it does fade alil, no sweat! Just re-apply where it's needed! This is quick, super simple and great for everyone to try!

I think every natural has those days when we just "want change ".  Whether it's "Color" or a "Cut", we often   might regret a drastic change for a "temporary solution". This is my temporary solution.

Fun Fact about BC

Despite what a lot of you ladies may know, my natural hair color is actually a reddish dark brown. (Of course it's more noticeable in the sun) but in most of my photos, it looks dark brown. Even Black.(No color was applied here)

My hair has always changed colors,(From black to a reddish brown) textures, patterns. So it's interesting now what type of changes my hair will make as a natural.

Having fun ideas along your natural journey, may keep us from doing things we might regret later. So make sure to keep it simple,be creative, and keep damage to a minimal with easy, fun, alternatives!

Hope this helps guys!

Xo,

BaronessCountess
